What’s Holi without an awesome Bollywood makeup look? The hearts and homes of Indians on Holi radiate warmth and love and the same is reflected during a wedding function. Deepika’s look from the movie Ramleela can serve two-fold purposes, both as a Holi makeup as well as a wedding Indian bridal makeup.
- Before doing any type of makeup, be it festive makeup or wedding bridal makeup, you would perhaps like to prep the skin a bit.
- You need to start with silk peonies with tatcha, which is an amazing eye cream. This product goes on and is absorbed into the skin pretty much immediately and helps with dry skin especially.
- To hydrate your lips, use a lip balm. For this, you can use a rose lip balm from Milani. This lip balm feels fabulous on the lips.
- Next, you need to use a primer spray. You can use a mist by Milani which is a new product. It’s supercharged, revitalising facial mist.
- Deepika’s contour and dimension from the Holi scene of the movie are visible but it’s very subtle. So, you need to do contouring underneath the foundation. To start with contouring first, you need to use a deeper shade of concealer by colourpop. This is a pretty fresh concealer in 200 n. When you want that wonderful fresh finish whether it is for festive makeup or wedding bridal makeup Indian, use the contouring and sometimes the highlight under the foundation, that gives you a more natural look. When you use the contour first, it’s very forgiving because even if you don’t blend it to perfection, it will be alright. After all, you’ll be applying the foundation on top of it and then the blend becomes seamless automatically.

- You can blend cream products with a flat top kabuki brush. For this, you can use a product from dough colour. Then to colour correct, you can use the new supercharged brightening under eye tint on uneven skin areas. After that, you need to quickly blend it out with your fingers.
- For foundation, you can use something that gives you light to medium coverage. When you use any kind of dimension under the foundation whether it’s a contour or a highlight, you want to use a light to medium coverage foundation because you want some of that dimension to peek through. Although subtle, it will still show and thus, work very well for festive makeup as well as wedding bridal makeup.
- If you use a full coverage foundation, it is going to cover up everything. So, there’s no point in applying any kind of dimension under the foundation.
- Next, you can use a damp sponge.
- To conceal around your eyes, you can use a Milani concealer. To blend this out again, use a damp sponge.
- Once everything settles, very lightly set your face with a translucent powder. Use a large blending brush to very lightly dust it in the areas where you usually crease.
- Do not apply too much powder, if you don’t want to look powdery that can distort your wedding bridal makeup.
- To melt some of that powder and to set the base makeup, use a setting mist.
Eye Makeup:
- Deepika’s brow, in that particular scene, was pretty well defined. So, you need not only fill in the sparse areas but also need to give your brows some shape.
- Wedding Indian bridal makeup is all about elegance. Deepika’s eye makeup was simple in the movie. She had a lighter shimmer shade on the lid and a deeper shade of brown going around her crease as well as a lower lash line to define it.
- Start with the shadow stick called the one and done. This is by pixie. Apply it all over your lid starting with the lash line to the crease.
- Then, you can use the Hoola bronzer as your transition. You have to use this at the crease, smoking it out and then you have to use it in the lower lash line. You can also use brown eyeshadow.
- To tight line just the top lash line so that your lashes look thicker, use a black eye pencil.
- It’s time to curl up your lashes and finish up with some mascara. Deepika doesn’t have too much mascara in her lower lashes. So firstly, apply the mascara and then to remove the excess product, use a clean spoolie to brush it down. Now you have the completed eye look.
She had the lightest blush on her cheeks. So, you have to look for the lighter blush inside your kit to give your wedding bridal makeup a tint of easiness.
Her lipstick also looks quite natural. So, you have to use just a tint. You can use a lip tint by colourpop.
Hairstyle:

- That completes the makeup part. Now, let’s take a look at her hairstyle which, when paired with wedding bridal makeup Indian, complements each other.
- Deepika Padukone had poofy hair in the front and a messy knot in the back. First, section out your hair in the front and tie a knot in the back.
- You will also have to loosen the knot just a tad bit so it helps in the poof in the front and then, start working with the hair in front.
- Take some small parts, use a hair spray and start teasing it. Do this until you are done with all the hair in the front.
- After some time, the hair is automatically raised so it is very easy to make that poof in front. So, gather all the hair and pin it in the back.
- While you do that, also leave a couple of loose strands in front just the way Deepika had.
- Then, using the hairspray once again, neaten up and comb back some of that baby hair and flyaways.
To accessorise, start with a bindi. She has a red round bindi and underneath that, she has a small black bindi. In place of the black bindi, you can also use a black gel liner and stamp it with the back of the brush.
You can also add jewellery in case you have put this on as a wedding Indian bridal makeup. At last, the look is complete.
