CREATE DIFFERENT PRINTING STYLE WITH TEXTILE DESIGN PATTERNS

fabric-design

Textile design patterns is the process of creating designs and patterns on woven, knitted, or printed fabrics. Designers often put these designs into one of two categories. Upholstery fabrics and clothing fabrics. Before modern printing presses, fabric designs were created by knitting and weaving. These methods are still used today, but printing presses can produce fabrics with patterned designs faster. In knitting and weaving, designers make sketches of designs they want to make. Select the desired thread colour. So, the cloth can be woven on a loom or knitted with a needle and hook.

Today, textile design drawings are typically created using CAD software, which is computer-aided drawing software. This allows designers to create accurate illustrations, save them as digital files, and use them over and over again, or modify them to their liking. The design file is passed to the manufacturer and used by the press to print large quantities of fabric with the specified design. To learn how to design fabrics, you need to understand the steps involved. As with any art form, the process begins with an idea. From there, the designer draws a design sketch. This can also be done on paper, but this software is perfect for many fabric designers thanks to its versatility.

Direct printing, resist printing and discharge printing are the only three block printing techniques widely used in India.
